Gosh are we going to talk about diets. Yes I guess so.
Now I don't want to talk about that you must eat this or eat that. I just hate restrictions myself.
I have found the best diet is to listen to your body.
How do I feel after eating this particular kind of food? Do I feel great or do I feel awful. Did I eat my food too quickly? Was I upset when I was eating?
Sometimes we can't lose weight because our lives are a bit unsettled and that nice little padded (fur) coat we have around us is protection to ward against what is going on in our lives and when things settle down the weight just goes.
Don't be too hard on yourself. Do the best you can. If you start a new program and then find the next day you break it, don't beat yourself up, just begin again the next day.
Try to delete the word “should” from your vocabulary. SHOULD is a word of guilt. You COULD do it but perhaps today isn't the day.
Just love yourself and do the best you can if you are trying to lose weight either to look better or for your health.
